Carlos was an excellent guide for three notable trips.
We took a walk around the Stanford dish along with Sasa and Mila. This was one of my first trips to dish, and the first time I'd ever met Carlos. It was a great experience! He provided brisk and jovial conversation, and together we conquered the loop in record breaking time.
Carlos was a gracious host when I took a trip all the way across North America to his home in Boston. There, we enjoyed delicious food, such as Ania's salmon, Eric's pasta, viva burritos, and Mila's 150 course meal. We shared the occasional (yet brief) puzzle solving collaboration. We provided excellent commentary for some Olympic games spectating. Overall, my trip to Boston was one of the high points of this past year, and I can't wait to go back and get Pizzeria Regina.
Lastly, Carlos and I ventured together to the familiar lands of Palo Alto, where we visited a fine establishment known as Tacolicious. Despite the initial struggles with our trip (long wait times before being seated, harsh weather conditions, and tension with a rival group of teens), we eventually enjoyed a delicious meal and hot sauce dessert in the most optimal window-adjacent seating possible.
I've greatly enjoyed my trips with Carlos, and he's been an excellent guide. Here's to many more!
